The GOSHAWK, chartered by the South Australian Company, left Hamburg in December, via London/the Downs about January 4th, 1838
and arrived Nepean Bay/Port Adelaide on May 14th, 1838 with 2 passengers [not named]





She then departed Pt Adelaide, arrived Encounter Bay August 12th, 1838

REGISTER 1838, p3 col 4.
"We hear from Encounter Bay that the fishery
had been quite as successful as anticipated.
The boats of the South Australian Company had secured
about 120 tuns and those of Mr Wright above 100 tuns.
The season was considered only half over.
The GOSHAWK had arrived, and was at anchor
in Victor Harbor, preparing the take in oil for England..."

The GOSHAWK left Encounter Bay arrived Nepean Bay on September 30th, 1838
