CHILDE HAROLD 1849

from London 17 - 02 1849 via Plymouth with Captain James. S. Byers,
arrived Port Adelaide on 2-06-1849
Homeward bound from Australia to England, wrecked on south east point of Dassen Island near Tale Bay, S.Africa in February 1850. Only casualty was the master who drowned while attempting to swim ashore with a line.
