The HARPLEY spoke the VICTORY, bound for New Zealand, in lat. 51º S., and long. 98º E on 2nd January, 1851. John Adams, a man of unsound mind, who was working his passage out in the Harpley, jumped overboard on the 24th December; the boat was lowered, but could not find him.
