Give your students the edge on research with this introduction to resources and how to access them, facilitated by Community Learning librarians.

Suitability: years 10 to 12

Students can search their own topics using their own devices or the State Library's iPads.

Our Community Learning librarians will show how to get better research outcomes using:

  • eResources, including access to databases that provide newspaper and journal articles
  • FREE home access to databases
  • the Library's collection of over 600,000 books
  • hardcopy magazines and newspapers
  • the most comprehensive South Australian published and archival collections
  • maps and geodata
  • Digital Collections-
  • audio/visual collections
  • pictorial resources
  • Library Guides, and
  • access to friendly and professional advice

The session also covers an orientation to Library spaces, services.
