Note: Sessions are free, bookings essential

The State Library of South Australia holds the stories and memories of South Australia.

Suitability: years 5 to 7
Duration: up to 90 minutes
Days: Monday - Friday
Capacity: class of 30 students maximum
Supervision: 1:6
Facilitator: Education Librarian

A selection of historical resources illuminates various aspects of the settlement of the state, including diaries, letters, maps, passenger lists and newspapers. Visit the magnificent Mortlock Chamber (where possible) and go behind-the-scenes to the basement and view documents relating to early settlement in South Australia.
