The State Library of South Australia holds the stories and memories of South Australia.

Suitability: years 5 to 7
Duration: up to 1.5 hours
Days: Monday to Friday
Capacity: up to 30 students
Supervision: 1:6
Facilitator: Education Librarian

A selection of historical resources illuminates various aspects of the settlement of the state. including diaries, letters, maps, passenger lists and newspapers.

Learners will visit the magnificent Mortlock Chamber (where possible) and go behind-the-scenes to the Library's basement to view documents relating to early settlement in South Australia.
