From its earliest days, cricket has been an integral part of the life and times of South Australia. Come discover highlights of the amazing range of cricket themed material in the State Library's collections, and enjoy a unique opportunity to see some of our original materials close up.

Dates: Tuesdays 3, 10 October 10-11.30am | Friday 6 October 1-2.30pm
Duration: 90 minutes, includes a 30 minute walking tour

Even if you're not a cricket buff you'll be fascinated by the photographs and memorabilia form the State Library collections. This is a rare opportunity to view historical materials including a match program, scorecard, children's books, menus and one of "our Don Bradman" scrapbooks. We will also show you how to access our websites, oral histories and images.

This program includes a 30 minute guided walk through the heritage Mortlock Wing, contemporary Spence Wing and Treasures Wall exhibition area.

Things to do after the tour

After the tour you may like to view our current exhibition: From Outback to Outer Space: Woomera 1955-1980 or relax with refreshments or a light meal in our friendly cafe.
