Aboriginal Australians are advised that this exhibition includes images and recordings of Aboriginal people who have passed away. These images and recordings are exhibited with the permission of the Adnyamathanha Traditional Lands Association.

Ruins are rich sites of material memory and they offer insight into the passage of time. UNSETTLED invites you to rediscover colonial ruin in the Flinders Ranges through a mixture of media art, photography, archival imagery and documentary interviews.

In the 18th and 19th centuries the French explored the spectacular coastline of Australia. Now over 200 years later, French photographer Frédéric Mouchet has retraced their steps to capture the environment not unlike what the seafaring explorers originally saw.

IN MEMORIAM

We regret to announce that the artist of this exhibition, Mr Neil "Shep" Sheppard passed away on Wednesday 9 September 2015 in Kingscote Hospital on his beloved Kangaroo Island.

This moving exhibition, the last opened in his lifetime, is now dedicated to his memory.
