A high-stakes curatorial cold case! When the clock starts, your team will have one hour to crack the clues and hunt down the hidden secrets throughout the Library. With a live leader board, cryptic clues, surprise challenges and a roaming curator you'll have to think quickly to defeat teams of rival adventurers.

Cartooning workshops with Stonie

Time: 5:30 to 7:30pm

Location: Hetzel Lecture Theatre, Institute Building

Note: Ages 18 & over. Free, bookings essential

Cartooning is probably one of the last forms of freehand drawing with no boundaries. Cartoonists express themselves and develop their own styles just by being shown the basics of drawing on any surface with their medium of choice be it pencil, brush, pen or computer tablet.

Join John Stoneham, professional cartoonist, for three workshops over three weeks. The program will cover the basics of cartooning, cartoon publishing, advertising and computer methods of cartooning.

Three dates: Wednesday's 31 January, 7 and 14 February 2018.

At the State Library we use Eventbrite for our event and program registrations. When you register for a event or program, you will be asked to provide your name and email address.
