Woomera put Australia into the space age. The From Outback to Outer Space: Woomera 1955 - 1980 exhibition will not only tell the story of that journey into the stars, but also what life was like for the men, women and children who lived on the ground. Presented by the State Library and the National Archives of Australia.

Fashion Talks

We're celebrating the 2017 Adelaide Fashion Festival and invite you to join us as we discuss and explore fashion, styles, trends and stories from the State Library collections.

This presentation explores highlights of the amazing range of cricket themed material in our collections, from photographs and scorecards to a Don Bradman scrapbook.

Come and join us at the State Library of SA as we present a series of free family history talks on the third Thursday each month at 1pm.

This year the program runs from March through to November, all session are free but booking is essential. We look forward to seeing you!
