Get the most out of our online collections and resources. This event is suitable for adults and will take place in the Bronwyn Halliday Learning Studio, Your Hub, Ground Floor.

Two, one hour sessions, are available per day:

  • Thursday 8 September: 10:30am or 1pm
  • Friday 8 September: 10:30am or 1pm
Tangent a discussion series for lovers of words and theatre

Tangent 2016 - the events

Date: 12 September 2016 to 17 October 2016

Location: Hetzel Lecture Theatre, Institute Building

Note: Cost: $7 per person. Refreshments at 6pm. Panel discussion begins 6.30pm.

The State Library of South Australia and the State Theatre Company return for a new series of Tangent running from June through to October, a series of discussions exploring the links between the State Theatre Company's productions and literature, for lovers of words and theatre.

Randolph Stow

Randolph Stow's Adelaide

Randolph Stow was one of the great Australian novelists of his generation. He won the Miles Franklin award in 1958 for his first novel To the Islands, and followed this with six more extraordinary novels and several collections of poetry.
