Raoul Wallenberg's War

Hetzel Lecture Theatre, Institute Building
Free event, bookings essential:

Raoul Wallenberg could never have imagined that he would end up in the inferno that was Hungary in the autumn of 1944. Even less that he would save the lives of thousands of Hungarian Jews, or that he would, half a year later - on January 17 1945 - be taken prisoner by the Soviets and disappear for ever.

This film brings to us the moving personal narratives of both those whom Wallenberg saved and who worked for him.

Language: English, Runtime: 45 mins, Year: 2013
