Michael Mills as Captain Nicolas Baudin

Captain Nicolas Baudin (aka Michael Mills) will host floor walks of the Frédéric Mouchet: The South Australia of the French explorers - photographic exhibition at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm.

  • Have you ever wanted to join a famous explorer in search of far away lands?
  • Have you ever imagined what extraordinary creatures you might meet, and what amazing discoveries you would make along the way?

In 1800, Captain Nicolas Baudin departed France on a journey to the great southern land to do just that!

Commissioned to explore the boundaries of science and the arts, Baudin's adventure, while largely successful, was not short of the occasional catastrophe. What better person, then, to escort you amongst the fascinating photographs and collection material than the very sea captain who led the expedition. Get ready for the smell of salty air, and the pong of misadventure in an experience suitable for all the whole family.

Book online now!

Come on a delightful, hilarious, and occasionally awkward, adventure through the Mouchet Exhibition.
