Exciting news - we have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence in the 2015 TripAdvisor awards.

Tripadvisor is the world's largest travel community, with more than 315 million travellers visiting the travel site each month. The Certificate of Excellence is awarded to organisations that consistently receive great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

Here is what our visitors have said about their experiences at the State Library:

"The free tour is well worth taking - A free library tour might not sound exciting but, for anyone visiting Adelaide and interested in the city's history, this is well worth the hour spent." (UK visitor)

"We chatted for a long time to one of the volunteers, who then offered to show us round the Mortlock library, which is a beautiful old building. He spent a long time explaining the displays on the ground floor, bringing them to life, and teaching us some of the history of Adelaide." (Scottish visitor)

"Lovely building from the outside, incredibly breathtaking on the inside. I love that you can look up three floors and see nothing but walls of books and ladders... What every library should look like." (Canberra, visitor)

We've also been recognised for positive ratings and reviews on Yelp - an online site that connects people with great local businesses.

If you've had a great experience at the State Library why not share it so others can experience all that we have to offer - visit the State Library on TripAdvisor or the State Library on Yelp.
