Join us as Lester Saegenschnitter talks about the books in his life.

Lester was a teacher and leader in Lutheran secondary schools in South Australia, Victoria and Queensland for 42 years. For many of these years he was a science teacher with a particular love for teaching physics. His positions of responsibilities included being Head of Science, Dean of Students (Pastoral Care) and Director of Studies within various schools. His career culminated with a 12 year tenure as Principal of Concordia College, Adelaide. He retired from this role in 2017 following which he worked for 18 months as the part-time Consultant Principal at Adelaide International School in Rundle Mall.

Presented by the Friends of the State Library South Australia.

How do I get to the State Library by public transport?

There is paid metered street parking along Kintore Ave and Victoria Drive.

Where is the wheelchair and stroller access?

Access to the Spence Wing first floor and the Mortlock Chamber is via the lift in the glass foyer entrance of the library.
