The 1000Libraries Awards celebrate the world's most beautiful libraries, bookshops, and book cafes, as voted by the public.  

We are excited to announce that the #StateLibrarySA has been nominated as one of the world’s most beautiful libraries. Now, we need your help to reach the top of the list. 

At the heart of this nomination is the Mortlock Chamber, an enchanting space that captures the imagination of all who enter. Loved by South Australians and visitors alike, the Mortlock is where architecture, history and stories intersect.
