Health and safety of our customers and staff

SAFETY AND HYGIENE MEASURES AT THE LIBRARY

Keeping our staff and customers safe remains a priority, so we continue to have protective screens in use at service points, such as the Information and Ambassador desks.

Wearing face masks is no longer mandatory in indoor public spaces, however if you choose not to wear a mask during your visit to the library, we may need to adjust our service to minimise contact with you. If you require help with technology or the collections, please adhere to physical distancing guidelines to respect the health and safety of our staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We ask you and our staff:

  • If you have cold or flu symptoms or feel unwell please do not enter the building. You can still use the online resources of the library and ask for help via our Ask Us or Chat to a Librarian services.
  • To follow physical distancing guidelines.
  • To continue to wash your hands often and cover coughs and sneezes. We have hand sanitiser stations at all entries to the building and around the library. Please sanitise your hands on entering the building, after using equipment or handling materials and visiting the toilets.

Service updates

Services may change according to the COVID-19 impact on staff and directives by SA Health. Impact to services will be updated on the library website.

ATTENDING PROGRAMS  OR events AT THE LIBRARY

If attending a program or event at the library, bookings are essential. Visit What's on to find out more about our upcoming programs.

To keep our staff and customers safe we will continue to follow the physical distancing and recommended hygiene guidelines outlined by the State Government COVID-19 regulations. When entering the library, please sanitise your hands at the sanitiser stations provided.
