In this practical, hands-on workshop Jill will guide attendees on how to identify themes and through-lines in their collection, ready to be structured into a submittable, publishable poetry manuscript.

Are you working on a poetry manuscript or looking for ways to start a manuscript? Join award-winning poet Jill Jones in this workshop aimed at getting a collection of your best poems in order for a manuscript that is publication-ready.

Jill will offer guidance on formatting, structuring, revising and titling your manuscript. The workshop will also help you to identify themes and through-lines in your collection of poems so you can begin drafting a book description for a submission to potential publishers.

This course is best-suited for poets who have at least 10-15 poems ready for a potential short manuscript as well as for poets with a longer collection of poems, published and unpublished, who are aiming for a full-length book. We will not be workshopping individual poems but you should bring along a file of your potential poetry collection to refer to during the workshop.

Members $90, Non-members $125
