Engage, explore and experience art and writing with storyteller extraordinaire, Helen Lawry at the Start Art Book Club, presented by the State Library of South Australia and the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA). The recommended age for those taking part is 8 to 13 years.

The program starts inside the AGSA entrance on North Terrace at 12pm to engage with art connected to the story. The book club then moves to the State Library for a writing and art making activity.

How to take part

To take part in the State Art Book Club sessions:

  1. Join the AGSA Start Art Club to become a member.
  2. Register using the AGSA website for the session you are interested in.
