Engage, explore and experience art and writing with storyteller extraordinaire, Helen Lawry at the Start Art Book Club.

Presented by the State Library of South Australia and the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA). The recommended age for those taking part is 8 to 13 years.

The program begins in the North Terrace foyer entrance of AGSA at 12pm. Helen will guide you through the gallery to engage with art that is connected to the story. The book club will then walk to the State Library for writing and art making activities.

How to take part

To take part in the Start Art Book Club sessions:

  1. Join the AGSA Start Art Club to become a member.
  2. Register using the AGSA website for the session you are interested in.
