Use of the State Library's Home Access to eResources is governed by licence agreements between the publishers and suppliers of eResources and the State Library of South Australia.

Users are required to comply with the following terms and conditions of these licences:

  • Home Access membership is available only to residents of South Australia.
  • A current South Australian ID must be presented when collecting the card at the State Library.
  • By joining the State Library, you agree to these conditions of use for home access to eResources.
  • eResources are to be used for private research and study purposes only - no use is allowed for business, commercial or work-related purposes.
  • Users should read carefully any copyright or terms-of-use statements appearing within the eResources and limit any copying or reproduction of material from the eResources in accordance with instructions.
  • Where no statement restricting copying is evident, users should assume that - as a minimum requirement - they are obliged to comply with the Australian Copyright Act 1968. Information on copyright is available from the Australian Copyright Council.
  • Use is for the registered individual only. Please do not share your login details with anyone else. Access is not transferable to others.
  • When using eResources be considerate to other users by logging out as soon as you have completed your session to allow other users access.

Failure to abide by these conditions of use may result in the cancellation of your State Library membership.
